I was listen to a podcast. The guy pulled out Next Gen stats and said Jones faced an 8 man front on nearly 70% of his rushing attempts. For Williams it was nearly 50% of the time. Cleveland's Nick Chubb was next at 35% of the time.

If this is true it is absolutely amazing that they averaged 7.2 and 4.8 a carry. Of course the downside to having so many defenders up near the line is if you do breakthrough the line, there probably isn't another defender nearby to bring you down.

Is that just for this one game? On the snap count, I did notice that they seemed to just Non-WRs a lot more.

I'm thinking at least 60% of the time with only two WRs. That could of lead to the Panthers using a lot more guys in the box to match with the TEs and FB. Even got two plays with 6 OL on the field.

Jace sternberger made a big impression this week

The "skilled position" blocking was improved this week, with Sternberger, Lazard and Kumerow all getting more reps and blocking very well at times.

Also sidenote, shout out to S Campbell, he came back and filled the coverage LB/physical SS role extremely well when I feared McCaffrey would burn us badly there.

Run blocking definitely looked great this week in a way that I'm not used to seeing recently in Green Bay. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
