I’ve said it before but many/some of you think you can do the wave anytime whether it affects the offense or not. Do it on defense or take it to the parking lot.

I love the wave. But if it's distracting to the players, lets keep it to only defense.

I've been to games at old City Stadium, Milwaukee County Stadium and Lambeau Field.
I was only eight years old when I went to my first game at City Stadium so I probably didn't think about crowd noise. County Stadium didn't seem to have much crowd noise affecting the opponent.
I will say that I have always been disappointed by lack of crowd noise at Lambeau when the opponent was on offense.
As far as the "wave", even though I have participated, I consider it to be a waste of energy.
I would prefer that fans use their lungs to try to disrupt the opponent's offense.

When you pay for my ticket, then you can tell me what to do. Otherwise, FUCK OFF!!

I haven't ever done the wave that I can recall. I don't really see the fun in it or point of it. I paid good money to see the Packers, not stare down the row to see when to stand up and throw my arms up. I usually only get loud when defense is on the field on 3rd down or good plays or stupid flags.

Now the crowds at opposing stadiums will do the wave every time we’re on offense. Maybe that’s the plan, try to get opposing crowds to focus more on doing the wave instead of making noise.

Its like those who say football was meant to be played outdoors. Who says? The reason it was played outdoors way back then is because they didn't have buildings big enough. I bet the first day it rained on a football game people were saying "this sucks I wish we could play this game inside"

Why do you think they invented arena football? Because people actually wanted to watch it? Hell no, it was because they were sick of playing football outside.

The Seahawks use it and every time I've seen it they were on defense.

The first indoor NFL football game was the championship game in 1932 played at the old Chicago Stadium due to weather conditions.
Indoor football was played all the way back in the 1890s. I just learned that.

Mucky Tundra (8h) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (9h) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (9h) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (9h) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (12h) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.
