He threw the ball pretty darn well coming out of college, and by this time last year he was throwing the ball GREAT. I can't wait for the season to start so all of these silly Rodgers myths can come crashing down.

Like I tell the drunks at the bar, the time for talk is over. All the 'this guy sucks' 'this guy is gonna own' and 'this guy is overrated' stuff can come to an end, because we'll see who is what when they step on the field.

And thank the lord. I'm tired of trying to explain to Bears fans why their team sucks and why GB will be fine without Favre. Now I can just tell them "monday, 6pm. Watch it."

This team will show the world!

I think I am more worried about Rodgers decision making as opposed to his passing abilities.

He can make the throws, I was most impressed seeing him throw against his body numerous times this pre-season and doing it well.

But if Rodgers can make decisions in the same ball park as Brett then we'll be golden.

I don't expect him to make the exact same decisions, but if he can be closer to Brett in this regard than say an average QB then hot diggity it'll be fun times.

I agree with you aadp. His arm and accuracy I believe is great. Experience will help his decision making. I think the first few games may be a little rocky but as the season progresses the decisions making ability will get better and everything will fall into place. I beleive in AR.

Brett had the fastest release I think i have ever seen ( just like Marino)

Rodgers release is a tad slower, so his passes APPEAR to be slower..

At least that is what I think

I think once Rodgers gets comfortable, he will be fine. I think the early preseason, he wasn't so comfortable, tried to "think" too much on the field, instead of just reacting.
He seems to throw fast and hard, so I'm not worried.

TheKanataThrilla (26m) : Exactly buck...Washington came up with the ball. It is just a shitty coincidence one week later
buckeyepackfan (27m) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (28m) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (34m) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (35m) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (40m) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (1h) : I think this games over

Mucky Tundra (1h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (5h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (5h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (5h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (15h) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (21h) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
