First, I didn't want to combine this with buckeyepackfan's prediction post, as that's with the understanding of being 4 months out, while mine is one week out, very different circumstances (and I made my prediction at that time as well). But time for new ones.

PUP List Campbell
IR St. Brown

QB (3): Rodgers, Boyle, Kizer
RB (2): Jones, Williams
FB (1): Vitale
WR (7): Adams, Allison, Valdes-Scantling, Kumerow, Davis, Lazard, Shephard
TE (4): Graham, Lewis, Tonyan, Sternberger
OT (3): Bakhtiari, Bulaga, Light
OG (3): Turner, Taylor, Jenkins
C (2): Linsley, McCray

~ RB: They'll probably release Kizer or Shephard for a trade or claim on a 3rd RB.
~ WR: Could keep St. Brown for a day and then put him on the IR so he can come back during the season.
~ TE: It's been so quiet on TE Lewis front, I'm feeling like there is a surprise there. At first I was thinking maybe possible surprise release, but he's listed #2 on the depth chart, so now I'm thinking maybe they have some run package in mind to surprise other teams?
~ C: Extremely hard to choose between McCray and Patrick, they're very similar, this was actually my final decision. I went with McCray simply because he's listed as the back-up Center, though both can play Center (so can Jenkins).

DT (2): Clark, Lancaster
DE (3): Lowry, Adams, Keke
OLB (4): Z. Smith, P. Smith, Gary, Fackrell
ILB (5): Martinez, Burks, Bolton, Summers, Crawford
CB (7): Alexander, King, Williams, Brown, Jackson, Hollman, Sullivan
S (4): Amos, Savage, Greene, Redmond

~ DL/OLB: was extremely straight forward for me.
~ ILB: They had 5 ILBers on the roster last year (I couldn't figure out why when only using 2 on defense), with Burks and Bolton recovering from injuries, 5 might make more sense right now.
~ CB: Pretty darn good depth
~ S: I didn't feel like a 4th Safety earned their spot, but the depth is needed, especially with me projecting 5 to the role, so Redmond got it, via STs with Williams helping out as needed at Safety.

ST (3): Crosby, Scott, Bradley

Love your 53 beast. In order to get to your 53 I believe they need to expose 1 of them to waivers in order to get St. Brown on IR. Based on your list who would you pick? I think the least likely to be snagged is Sullivan, but he plays an important position and played well this preseason. I like keeping 7 WRs. Tough not to see Dexter Williams on the team. I hope he can make it to the practice squad.

I can’t see Dexter not making the team. He has played well every chance he’s got. I think some team would grab him if we put him on the practice squad.

Just look at the list of inactives last night. Most of them are probably on the 53.

I think sneaking a WR past teams would be easier, as every year we have worried about one of our back-up WRs being released because they're going to get claimed, and it's simply has never happened (at least not yet, in recent decade). Some how, we've had more interest in our OGs and FB cuts than our WRs cuts... because there are so many decent WRs out there coming out of college now in the pass happy eras. Even CB LaDarius Gunter, whom Packers fans weren't too happy with his lack of athletic skill set, got claimed.

It's all supply and demand, WRs are better supplied to the league and therefore at cuts time, less demand (it seems), and positions like QB, OT, Edge, and CB are in little supply, so high demand...

2) With the exceptions of maybe the back-up QBs and S Redmond, all the others have flashed more (IMO) either on their side of the ball or on STs.

The only thing I really disagree with is the RB position. I feel like they’ll definitely keep either Carson or Dexter Williams. I don’t see how or why they wouldn’t.

Beast you always do a good job putting together your list.

I've been doing it since the 80s. Almost always on a sheet of paper and scratching off the guys at the bottom of the depth chart.

This is the first time I can recall not watching a single play in the PS. I've had to rely on podcasts that were outdated and reading a few online posts. Until last night I thought Moore had a slim chance. Not any"Moore".

Where I missed at

Packers Kept
RB Dexter Williams
OL Patrick
OL Madison
DL Brown

Got rid of
QB Kizer
WR Lazard
OL McCray
ILB Bolton

So I think, I got 51 of 55 correct (counting PUP Campbell and IR St. Brown) or 49 of 53 if you don't count them.

OL Patrick vs McCray was a coin flip guess to me. To me, they were basically equal on the field... and thought it would come down to some smaller factors, like who slightly edge each other out in blocking, who's better at snapping at Center, and who's better in the locker room. But I don't see a big hit nor miss in this guess.

OL Madison, that was a huge miss by me, as I simply didn't see it coming at all.

RB/QB/WR I thought they would get a 3rd RB from another team and didn't know if they were gonna take the 3rd QB or the 7th WR for it (they took both for RB Dex and OL Madison), but I was trying to split the difference and say either the 3rd QB or 7th WR would be kept, and that didn't come true. Also, I wasn't sure if Gute was gonna be able to pull the trigger on getting rid of Kizer so soon, and I know I was a bit biased on this, but I liked Lazard and thought he could potentially be the future large slot WR if we lose Allison and/or Graham next offseason and didn't want to lose him.

DL Brown, I knew he had talent, but I just thought the numbers game would catch up to him, as they seemed to want and use less DL... especially with Z Smith and Gary being able to play some more physical roles than most edge rushers.

ILB Bolton, was a surprise to me, as I thought he was top back-up at coverage ILB, of course they also have Safeties for that too I guess. And last year, they kept 5 ILBers (while only using 2 or less on defense), which I never understood at all... and I thought more of this group than last year's group, so I thought they'd keep 5 again.
