The only ILB you are going to get for a guy you are likely to cut is a guy some other team is likely to cut so its not like you improve your team a whole lot. Instead of having one guy you are likely to cut you have a different guy you are likely to cut although the different guy is admittedly one who plays a position you need more. I'd rather have the draft pick. Get the low end roster guy you want and not the low end roster guy someone else wants to get rid of.
