Rishard Matthews: Matt LaFleur was "too disrespectful"

Former Tennesee Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews is clearly not a fan of new Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur. Matthews recently went on Instagram to answer questions from fans. One fan asked him if he liked his stay with the Titans. Matthews said he like playing for the Titans was fun until they brought in LaFleur as the offensive coordinator.

Yeah unless there is more, this doesn't tell me much.

It was fun, until he seriously struggled in a new system... in that situation, I think a lot would say it was less fun. Though it is interesting how much he dropped off... was that him, or the system, or something else.

The story as I heard it was Risard wasn't any good, and LaFleur said he wasn't gonna be a starter anytime soon, or something like that. Sounds to me like some of that "clear messaging" that Aaron Rodgers was speaking about.

Rishard Matthews sounds like a candy ass snowflake!!!! I wonder how we would have felt playing for Lombardi, "Its not fun anymore...he disrespected me."

Matthews is another guy who could use some Vagasil.

This interview makes me like Lafleur even meur. :-)

This whole “he disrespected me” is bull. It is your boss’s job to motivate you to do better, to be your best.
What was he SUPPOSED to do? Coddle him? Say “oh....would you mind trying to be better, try to be the best you can , so that we can win? If not, it’s ok. I’m not asking you to earn your money or position. Just do whatever you want. I hope I didn’t hurt your sensitive feelings! If I did, I apologize.”
