just because i feel #12 is not going to be the future of the Packers, nor do I feel our GM will ever win a World Championship, that does not mean I am not a fan of the team I have watched my entire life, in a state I have lived in since i was born.

I don't mind them disagreeing with the management, but they're just ceaselessly negative. And as for Aaron Rodgers, we have one season to draw on. How can we possibly know how his career will turn out from one season? A season in which, might I remind you, he performed mindblowingly well?

Or about how Lynn Dickey could not scramble, Or how dan devine traded away how many first round picks for john hadl. Guess what, thousands of packers fans complained for years, doesn't mean they were not fans of the team.

There's a vast difference between complaining about decisions the team makes -- hell, everyone knows I do my share -- and having absolutely nothing good to say about anything a team that was essentially 3 plays away from a PLAYOFF APPEARANCE one year removed from a championship game berth.

AWESOME, you are done, and I am not. I am hoping our, the Packers, counter punch comes from within the team.

my main candidates include:
Brandon Jackson
Jermicheal Finley
James Jones
hopefully these guys can stay healthy for an entire season, and become impact players for the future.

on defense
A.J. hawk
and somebody in the defensive secondary and defensive line. maybe tramon williams, and the Ted Thompson free agent acquisition.

after injuries to Barnett, Jenkins, and Bigby, the defense was completely ineffective.

The Packers could not generate a pass rush from the defensive line after Jenkins was injured, running backs and TE run free over the middle of the field, but changing to the 3-4 is the answer?????

sorry, but i am not sure what we have done to improve the team from last season but am hopeful a current player on the roster can have an breakout year.

I'm hopeful as well, but dreadfully feel hopeless. I don't think if our best players stay healthy and we get the breaks that this team is anything more than hovering around .500.

I like Current players. Love DD, Jennings was a great pick, etc but I just do not see the talent on this team. It turned out just like it truly was last year. Young undeveloped players, brought in on the cheap, losing games on clutch plays week in and week out.

So I don't choose to go around and say "if this happened" or if that didn't happen" blah blah blah, we'd have been decent. Hell, the Lions fans could say that as could any other team in the league.

If we were that darn good it wouldn't have came down to one play or one holding call. Good teams make plays in the clutch or overcome thier mistakes. Thats sports on any level.


It's scary how some as fans buy into the "building for the future" line of crap. Teams do build for the future but that can go on forever. We are far enough along in the Ted campaign that a 6-10 year should have fans angry. I know it was A-Rods first year as a starter but Ted should have better prepared us for the year.

I keep hearing how great A-Rod played, so if he wasn't the problem, don't use that for an excuse. We had injuries, but nothing drastic. All teams have injuries. Doesn't that say something about the depth of this team?


Somewhere in all the spin you guys like to use is the reason we were 6-10. I hear A-Rod played good, so 1st year starting QB must not be it. I hear Ted is good at evaluating, yet his backups couldn't step in and win games. I hear Ted re-signed guys, yet those guys coupled with Ted's talent around them were 6-10.


There is a problem somewhere. Blind optimism just doesn't cut it for me sorry.
