The man makes excellent points...he would be great litigator. Aaron argued:

if I really disliked Mike so much, why would I re-sign knowing that if I play well and we do what we do around here -- we made the playoffs eight straight years, and then I got hurt and we missed the playoffs -- it's going to be me and Mike my entire career? So if I really disliked him that much, do you think I'd re-sign?

This point is unassailable.

Plus, the converse of this point, as opined by others in other threads, is that he would have be viewed (and probably could have) as holding the franchise hostage and could have named a coach if had not agreed to an extension.

And who knows, maybe it genuinely is for the best. Even the sources who panned Aaron, still agreed Mike's offense was what we thought it was. Now we have a real offensive guru, let's go get some rings.

Everyone is saying the exact right things, for the most part. Aaron saying it's bitter ex players and impugning the journalistic integrity of Dunne is going too far, imo. But for the most part, everyone's hitting the talking points. That means it's being addressed and will pass.

Then it will be on Aaron to prove he's legit, by winning. And I think he's gonna do that. 👍

Yes, we all thought the offense was kind of stale, but what about what Greg Jennings said about Rodgers not wanting bunch formations and wanting to use his cadence to have the defense show their intentions? I don't know it to be true, but from what we've heard from Rodgers himself, I can buy into that. That could be why the offense was "stale" to us on the outside.

No one is saying the exact right things. People are responding with facts against coward unnamed sources.

Rodgers is exactly right that they are bitter irrelevant players. He was absolutely right about Tyler Dunne too. Did you even read the article? Did you even listen to what Aaron said? If you haven't, I urge you to read the FULL article, let it sink in for a minute, then listen to the audio clips of Aaron Rodgers. The first part airs at 9:15 AM CT today.

Make no mistake about it, Aaron Rodgers is not without fault, after all, no one is perfect or without flaws. Do we need to have them flaws exaggerated by maliciously motivated driven cowardly bitches who hide behind being an anonymous source? Look how many people (even players on other teams) coming to the defense of Aaron.

Dozens of guys say everything was fine. Two maybe 3 well known shit talkers say otherwise. The media goes with what the idiots say and drag people and teams through the mud, just for some clicks. Just another example of the pile of trash our society has become.

Because we're too half-empty to realize how much good is in this world because of our own narrow minded idiotic stupidity.

I really enjoyed this from Aaron.

Dunne should be DONE.
Just another clown trying to make a name for himself.
And how can ANYONE take Finley seriously? A guy that complained that AR expected him to know his JOB?

And Jennings....he was a decent player that AR made look GREAT. What did he do after he left Green Bay? If he was so special, why didn’t he lead his next team to a Super Bowl win?
The ONLY one that thought he was “the best WR ever” was his sister.
I guess BIG MOUTHS run in his family.

Great point Z2C. People dwell on the negative and click on controversy, like Yentas.

Not to get religious here but to prove a point (and criticizing my own) ask a Jew or Christian to tell you something about King David. Almost invariably, one of the first things they will bring up is Bethsheba. Rarely will somebody point out:
• He was a man after God’s own heart
 • As a youth, he slew Goliath
He wrote most of the book of Psalms
He was a prolific warrior
He did not turn his hand against King Saul even though Saul was trying to kill him out of respect for God.
He was a terrific king.
The Messiah was to be of his lineage.
Nope, But you can bet your left arm they will bring up Bathsheba. And these are people who are supposed to be fair.
 • Remember this priceless adage:

Small minds talk about people
Average talk about events
Great minds talk about ideas.
This is one of the reasons why in any of these threads I love talking about concepts like “Should the packers draft an offensive lineman versus a safety?”...”Was the contract for Rodgers a good idea or bad idea?” Versus the personal crap.
