I like Ricky Williams. Dude is tough and runs hard. Yeah, he smokes weed. And Cassius Clay didn't submit to the military draft. Some things are more important than football.

Define "mentally unstable", please?

1. Smokes weed?
2. Walks to a different drummer?
3. Too influenced by New Age ideas?
4. Suffers from social anxiety?
5. Has had to deal with depression?
6. Something else?

Agree with everything else you said, though.

I didn't mean mentally unstable as in shooting down everyone in a mall or something, but yeah, when number 4 and 5 make you give up on everything and everyone, run away and then eventually come back again, it's just not right, somewhere. Although, like I said, I can find some respect for his decision and actions somewhere.

It's not as much an insult as you seem to think... I think of myself as mentally unstable, as well.

And having had the dubious privilege of meeting you in person, I can testify to the veracity of that claim. [aiee]

I'm looking forward to seeing Green play. Ted Thompson seemed to really like him as he drafted him higher than most had him rated. And I like TT's ability to judge talent.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

I thought that this kid is going to have some determination and heart.

Character is forged in adversity. Sounds like he has had his fair share.

Like Driver and Jones.

Getting ahead of that right away.. poor joke. But what came to mind.

My point is he took his bonus and went off to get high instead of play. When they took the money back and he realized, no money=no weed=no friends who hung around for the free smoke.

If Green takes his money and goes off to experience pharmacological phyto-unity , it would suck for those who pay him to play football.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
