Please, the points system is out dated and everyone knows this already.
I will agree the 12 and 18 is too much for JUST the 9. It would take the 9 and 41 and that would be pushing it.
The more likely switch would be their 18 and 48 for our 9.

It's going to be dicey for Denver. It's obvioulsy going to take both firsts if they go as low as Cleveland or even Oakland. Then again, if they hold out until our pick they pretty much have to deal with us or Sanchez won't make it past the 49'rs.
It looks to me like we will have them by the short hairs if it does happen to get to us so that has to be considered. I think 12 and 48 for the 9 would be looking pretty good to them if it gets to that point. It also looks a heck of a lot better than both firsts so it's a question of how late they hold out.
I don't think Freeman is the guy for Denver or the Jets in their offenses so we have them sitting back there maybe trying to leap Denver as well.

Dead balls on with respect to
what we are going to extort from Denver, at a minimum, even though they are "overpaying-chart-wise". They will be happy to give it, too. They will be feeling quite pleased with themselves for not having moved up further in the draft in order to secure Sanchez. Sanchez will be there at 9, but not past 10...it is really that simple. We got the bastards by the short hairs. The Green Bay Packers know it, the 49ers know it, and the Broncos know it. Now, will the 49ers try and leapfrog to get to Sanchez? What about the Jets? Will the 49ers start offering us stuff to swap? Oh, Ted...please....be as absolutely arrogant on draft day as some think you are everyday...PLAY those assholes...especially Denver....after all, we gotta PAY for their stupidity (I'd even mention that to them, lol) by having to play against their former QB. Draft day is going to be a BLAST!
A BIDDING WAR FOR THE 9 HOLE LOOMS!
(Playing Ted Thompson for a second, talking to the 49ers, Jets, Broncos and whoever wants to hear my "rap") "Ya, I'm probably gonna get fried for this up in Green Bay, but I think I'm just gonna go ahead and take Sanchez...I had some real good luck with Rodgers, but Brohm has been a little slow out of the gate and I'm a firm believer in BPA....What do you got to convince me that it would be a better deal than to just go ahead and take a true franchise QB that has slipped this far? I mean, really...those fools out in Detroit might think they got the better QB at 1 than this young man, but frankly, you and I both know that the best QB by far is still sitting here at 9 ..."
