Yeah I don't think anyone is arguing this is an improvement at the QB position. It will be bittersweet to some teammates because Orton really gave his all last season playing hurt and so forth.

What will decide which team improves though will not just be the players, but the coaching. That is what makes the games in this division so tight usually. It is a constant chess match.

We should have beat the Vikes last season (refs messed up on Rodgers safety call) and we gave the Bears the win (blocked field goal). Didn't we beat them the other times we played them as well?

IMO, we were the best team in the NFC North (not saying much!) last season. Unfortunately, we also had the worst luck/ most injuries.

Yes, Cutler is a great quarterback but he isn't going to take the Bears above and beyond at least in his first year there.

I just can't see how we have improved at all at this time. The Bears and Vikings both have. We just kind of sitting in idle.
