The recent moves have placed 4 new players on the GB roster. They are:

Za'Dariius Smith (OLB/Edge Rusher) (from Ravens)
Adrian Amos (Safety) (from Chicago)
Preston Smith (LB/Edge Rusher) (from Washington)
Billy Turner (OL) (from Denver)

OLB Nick Perry was cut from the Packers roster

All interesting moves that could put GB in a better position to select talented players in the upcoming NFL Draft .

Given that we have not heard anything about Jimmy Graham being released, I think it's safe to assume that Green Bay will be cutting him a hefty $5 million check tomorrow. I wish I were optimistic that he'll come through in key situations this year.

I'd love to cut him

He could still end up being a cap casualty in the final roster cuts, but it strikes me as an absurd waste of money to give him $5 million in March and then release him in August. Stranger things have happened, though.

I would also like to see Matthews moved to ILB as the two new Packer Smith pass rushers put the pressure on from the edges. Otherwise, release Matthews and free up some money.

Mercedcedes Lewis (TE) has been re-signed to a one year deal.

Geronimo Allison (WR) has been tendered.

If they didn’t redo his deal it would be a shame. He is not worth the money.

I'd also like to see Jimmy traded, but I don't think there'll be any takers for a 32 year old TE who has been playing pretty average, on a $ 10 million a year deal.

Cutting him would give us a little more cap space, but not enough to eat the dead cap and sign a player of the same caliber. And we certainly don't have a starting TE on the roster behind him. So there's no point, really.

The new offensive system utilizes blocking TEs more than before. i understand that Marcedes Lewis is a decent blocking TE. Graham, if kept, might just platoon in/out with Lewis. Two TE sets also should be a part of the new sys.

As for Clay Matthews, I doubt he finds a home with another team and might sign a 1yr for the league minimum. His time as an edge rusher is over, but he may still have a season or two left as an ILB. Matthews/Martinez on the inside and the Smiths rushing the edges sounds good to me.

I've always liked Geronimo Allison and I believe that he will have his best year yet.
