    “Bashing”???
Asking character questions and showing bad plays is BASHING?
    Wow....how wimpy have “men” become?
With the kind of crap NFL players have been pulling, from physical abuse all the way up to murder, can you blame the teams for being straight up and asking tough questions? They are putting millions of dollars on the line for each pick.
If a guy can’t take a few hard questions without whining, is that the guy you want?
I would call being questioned “bashing” as whining.
If you can’t take a little criticism now, can you be coached?
Too much coddling if you ask me.

Though I have heard of rare times where one team has let another team sit in and listen to their interviews, I assume that went both ways trying to get the most eyes on guys they liked)

    2) Again I don't think I've ever heard one listed, but it depends on how much free time they got... and I think one year they had bad weather and they had a delay and the first couple of meetings were cancelled (which of course pissed off some teams that wanted to meet with a certain guy). But I think meetings are set for a certain time length and everything is up to the NFL scheduling then.

    3) It depends on what you're talking about, I think teams can have unlimited amount of talks at pro-days, and Senior Bowl etc...

But there are officially visits, where the draft prospect comes and visit your facilities and there might be a personal workout and interview.

    4) I believe the official visit of the facilities is (or at least was) limited to 30.

Sidenote: Thompson usually used those 30 visits high talented players with big questions surrounding them, which would get fans excited by the high talent, which was kinda funny because the opposite was normal true, with the questions meant no way the Packers were drafting them high... I believe the Packers drafted very small few in the 6th/7th but not high except TE Finley, and maybe one other.

Gute seemed to bring in guys he was actually pretty interested in and I believe we drafted some of them, or picked them up as UDFAs, etc.

    You might be right, Beast.
I didn’t actually hear the guy, so it’s hard to know for sure how he meant it.
Even so, should he (and the other players) not expect to be asked hard questions? Like I said, millions of dollars at stake.
When I was a kid (way back!) I applied for a job at a car dealership. It was for moving cars, getting them ready for sale. I went in for the interview, dressed nice in a tie and all. The guy doing the hiring asked me “would you do whatever I asked you to do?” I answered “yes”. Then he yelled at me “YOU MEAN, IF I ASKED YOU TO CLIMB UP THE FLAGPOLE OUT FRONT, YOU WOULD DO IT???”
I paused for a second, truely caught off guard and answered “ yes, If it was in my job description.”
    (I didn’t get the job!)😂
I can’t help but wonder if he asked all the other applicants that question! And I think it paid $2.50 an hour, not millions!

Beast, thank you for the explanation.

As I think of it, for higher round guys they are really interested in should be worth a background check...I wonder who the use.

I bet (hope) they have a bumch of interns checking social media.

Anybody who thinks he was complaining watch the video of it. More light hearted of an answer on video than it reads. He didn't sound like he was complaining but just telling the reporters the process but everyones gotta be so quick to trash someone.
