ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

just got this in an email...

You can spout all you want but this is a major problem for the Pack!!

All the talk about he never did this and he never did that as well as any bull about how he is a cancer does not take into account how will react to a new team.

The fact is that this guy is a legitimate QB and the Bears have not had that for a long time!!

Very, very bad if this report is true and it looks very much like it is!!

The Bears just pulled off the coupe of the season!!

Only the return of Brett Favre could offset this!!!

only the return of BRETT??

Packers are clearly the 3rd team in the NFC North now. I'm happy for the Bears because it makes those rival games meaningful again and I'm hoping that this puts pressure on the Packers staff to be BETTER and more aggressive.

I am not looking forward to our opener against the Bears. I think we can still win because it's going to be Cutlers first game and our offense will blow up their defense. In the same token I think our defense is going to suck ass this year, again.

Chicago is a lot better today than yesterday, but now rebuilding their defense and finding a solid receiver has just become that much harder because they traded two picks in this years draft and another one next year. Their defense is a shell of it's former self. They had a two year run where they were dominate, but its' rather average now.

I would say Chicago at least can't be ignored in the division any longer. Seems like Packer and Viking fans felt that they were the teams to beat. Chicago is in the discussion, but I don't believe they are the run away favorites.

Bingo!

That no longer dominant D really could have used those 2 1st round picks. So a huge upgrade at QB. That's something, don't get me wrong, but I'm not worried.

We got superior WRs. Their OL sucks worse than ours. Our D is on the way up. Theirs is on the way down. I'm not worried.

Holy crap. I'm glad that he doesn't have anyone to throw to just yet, Or at least, no WRs... and their O-line isn't that great either. Evasive-wise, Cutler is nowhere near Rodgers and will be on his back the entire time.... I guess it's always better than Cutler to the Vikings.

"Orygunfan76" wrote:

Are you serious? He's easily as mobile as Aaron Rodgers and throws much better on the run. The Bears getting this guy is a scary thing for rival NFC North teams and fans. The NFC North now has two good QBs, when was the last time that happened?

Cutler isn't that good on non roll out plays though. When the pocket collapses he's not sure where to go, what to do and makes poor decisions.

He is NOT a winner :thumbright: :thumbleft:

I think some folks are trying a little too hard to diminish Cutler's talent and potential - he's a damn good young QB and a hell of a competitor. I'm not saying that he turns the Bears into the best team in the division, but they're certainly better than they were on Wednesday. And as an Illinois native, I can tell you that their fanbase is on cloud 9 - they haven't had a real QB in that city since McMahon, or longer.

Our defense is going to have to be at least marginally better this year with the offenses we're going to be dealing with. Here's to hoping they will be.

Cutler has potential.....thank god he's going to a team where he will never reach his full potential!
