Watching the 1st half, seems it's the same old offense.
Rodgers drops back misses the short route gets sacked.

The only difference is he had escaped a couple of times, snd the defense came up with a pick 6.

Watch other games besides the Packers. You'll see "inferior" teams complete passes with receivers that are wide open. Tell me the last time you watched a Packers game where receivers were consistently having yards of separation. The Packers offense has been outdated for a couple years now.

And he would do the same damn thing I disliked about Brett Hundley, he would hesitate and pull it back, scramble a bit and then think about throwing and just toss it out of bounds. So damn frustrating.

He did have two really beautiful passes though. The pass he dropped into Cobb's hands for the TD, that was so pretty. The one to Adams where Alford was drapped over him, another really great pass.

For a California kid, sure didn't seem like the cold had much affect on him.

I had to laugh when Cobb was open Aaron rolled his way but didn't throw him the ball even though there wasn't a defender nearby. 5,000 fans in the three sections in front of the play all jumped up screaming at Aaron to get the ball to Cobb. Reluctantly he did but it took 3 times as long as it should have. By then a defender came over to cover Cobb. Instead of giving him the chance for YAC he was tackled immediately. But it was still a first down. Aaron and his damn statwhoring.

We're going to get a glimpse of the future today.

I'm expecting something similar to the Tom Clements debacle. But I hope I'm wrong. Could go either way.

Though to be fair, sometimes the WRs do get open and Rodgers doesn't pull the trigger because he's not comfortable with something or is looking for a longer/bigger play. But it's certainly not just the OL... which might have been one of the Packers best offensive groups this season.

On the one hand, I applaud Philbin's determination to bring a new sense of urgency to the offense. On the other hand, I can't help but note that he has been the offensive coordinator all season and wonder why he hasn't found a way to implement this look on a constitent basis until now. Somehow I doubt that Mike McCarthy was insisting that Aaron Rodgers wait until time expired to get the play off. Though the commentators yesterday did seem to think Philbin was getting the play in faster than McCarthy was wont to do.

Or was it that Rodgers was simply futzing less with the play prior to the snap?
