We're going to get a glimpse of the future today.

This is what it's gonna look like going forward. Anybody got any predictions? Word is Philbin used to call plays in practice, so he does have some experience with that.

I'm expecting something similar to the Tom Clements debacle. But I hope I'm wrong. Could go either way.

This is not a glimpse into anything more than the next 4 games. Get over your conspiracy theory that Rodgers is now in charge and will be until he retires. Take off the tinfoil hat

What a great topic.

If we see a marked improvement, it depends on the WHY as much as the IF.

If there is more dynamic playcalling, play design, and execution, it would lead you to think that McCarthy was a big part of the problem.

If we get more of the same, I’m not sure you can conclude that he wasn’t part of the problem. How much new stuff can you install in one week? I don’t think very much. And I think it’s more than just play-calling.

I think we will see more dynamic playcalling and better results, but I don’t think we will see much up tempo

There's no reason to run an up-tempo offense at this point. The season is effectively over. All an up-tempo offense would do is increase the number of plays you run, thereby increasing the risk of player injury. The time to run the up-tempo offense was when the team still had a chance to salvage its season.

Isn't that what the offseason is for, though? What if it does work and the Packers plummet out of the top ten in next year's draft?

I kind of think they want this to be Philbin, IF he can provide stability and hold everything together.

Winston Moss jokes that Aaron Rodgers has been the head coach in Green Bay

Moss appeared on FOX earlier today to discuss the recent changes in Green Bay, starting with the firing of coach Mike McCarthy. Said Moss at one point, “Aaron Rodgers has been the head coach of the Packers for the last nine years.” Moss then added, “I’m just joking.”

Every joke has a kernel of truth, however. And the joke meshes with the tweet that apparently sparked the decision to fire Moss, one in which he said that the next coach needs to hold everyone accountable, including Rodgers.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
