Fair enough and I did notice you didn't add personal commentary. I appreciate the stats and the effort. I wonder what gbguy20 meant by his "unbelievable" comment however.

I have a sneaking suspicion however that many fans will use this as "proof" that Mike McCarthy does not run the ball and that is what prompted my cautionary post.

Is it in fact true that Aaron Rodgers can change any play from run to pass and vice-versa in the non-two minute offense?

My understanding is that McCarthy calls two plays each play. Rodgers can kill one and go to the other, but there's no guarantee both plays aren't both passes or both runs.

Thoughts?

I believe in two minute offense, Aaron can call whatever he wants, whatever formation he wants. Mike dictates the personnel the other "minutes" of the game.

We have multiple issues on third and short. First in foremost is that our guards don’t get any movement off the ball, not that our tackles our outstanding drive blockers either.

Second. We pack everybody in and miss a key block and are back gets tackled somewhere behind a line of scrimmage because there is no movement.

Other than that, we’re outstanding on third and short.

Even if MM calls 2 plays, it’s obvious the defense pretty much knows from watching film what MM will do in any situation.
That’s why I would like to see Rodgers call all the plays. At this point, what is there to lose?
What they are doing is NOT working.
