The Packers have a roster spot open, and the expectation is returner Trevor Davis will fill it. Davis has spent the season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. He returned to practice last week and is eligible to play Thursday against Seattle. "I think I can make a big impact but at the end [more]

Can't believe this guy even made the roster and now he's coming back off IR. No snaps on O and don't fumble the return.

With Perry's injury and their lack of OLB depth, I'm wondering if they might be using that extra spot on an OLB depth

Or maybe something with the ILBers? ... as I'm still surprised we have 5 ILBers and yet only one plays 25% of the defensive snaps...

ILB defensive snaps percentages
97.2% Martinez
22.2% Morrison
19.6% Burks
2.3% Toomer (12 defensive snaps)
0.2% Crawford (1 defensive snaps)

Crawford is one of our STs studs... so I've been wondering what are the odds veteran Toomer might be release if they ever want a roster spot without IRing someone (though right now there are extra spots and no need to cut/release someone).

Im wondering how good our linebackers would be if we still had jake ryan playing; I thought he did a good job; reminded me of a guy that played slightly better then hawk.

With Breeland not being 100%, The Packers are going to need Davis for returns.

A lot could change after Thursday, just need him to do good for 1 game.

Also there was a lot of talk about Ryan and Matthews being used on stunts where Ryan would end up getting the end and Matthews in the middle, and some where they lined up that way.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
