I hope he is gone by the time we pick. The reason being is that I don't want to take him, and I don't want to pass on him either. On the surface I reckon' that makes little or no sense, but I guess what I am saying is that I just don't want that dilemma in front of us. Murphy's law being what it is, if we take him, he will bust out due to poor work ethic, character issues, [insert off-field problem here]. If we don't take him, he will be an immediate impact player that we were "foolish to let pass". After all, anyone that watched any college football last year would have to call him "Can't miss." I have some of the same feelings towards some others, but for different reasons. My solution? Trade back, Ted, trade back if you can if this scenario arises.

Want the kid I want on this team.. Peria Jerry... trade down a little, garner another pick or two and draft this kid to rotate in along the line.. 2 gap DE.

Won't happen but I like this kid.

Then pick the best OT left on the board in the 2nd or 3rd.. deep OT draft.

No no, I'm definitely on that bandwagon as well. Every since he left the combine, I've been hoping he'd fall to us. Before his little incident, I know some people were projecting him as the #1 overall pick. If we could get him at #9, that would be great.

i'm still going with trading back and drafted Brown, then in the 2nd we get Ron Brace (in my opinion just as good as Raji and will be cheaper. Of course in the 3rd round we will have to draft a wr(because Ted Thompson loves his no name wrs)

Greg Jennings was a no-name. I didn't know who the hell he was when we picked him and was curious why we didn't choose Chad Jackson. Now even the Pope bows down to Mr. Jennings.

But seriously, yes, I hope he strays away from picking a WR this year even though basically all of them have panned out with some success (with one fluke injury). Our WR core is one of the strongest in the league.

I hope we either pick Maybin or Raji with the first pick. If Andre Smith is still there....too tempting to pass up. I wouldn't be that angry because he was a beast in college. I also hope to God that Connor Barwin is available at pick 41., but don't think he'll make it that far though. He's the athletic freak that could wreak havoc with this D.
