Ty was actually my favorite offensive player on the field.

... First it was Jordy and then Ty. He reminded me of a muscular cobb, good slot receiver and could break tackles. Notice I said receiver and not RB. I never liked him at RB ... only time I did was if they would use him as a scat back but he still wasnt that effective because I think the defenses knew what he would be doing.

I thought he brought a lot of physicality to the receiver position. Same like jordy did.

Im not even sure what happened this past sunday; is it just hearsay about the fit and he did the run back out of spite or what ... I hate to say it but perhaps rodgers was so upset that Mike McCarthy decided in order to keep a 'happy' rodgers he needed to get rid of ty.

As someone else pointed out reminds me of the bostick situation. Except bostick was a below average TE and Ty was a #2-#3 WR (not RB).

Alls I can say is the ravens got a nice deal for Ty - a theoretically 8th round pick for him. Be interesting to see how he does over there and at what position.

Even thou I was Really disappointed by the ending of the game on sunday; Im sad to see Ty go; I wish him luck in the future.

Packers did a disservice to Ty by moving him to RB, well, the disservice was keeping him there after he filled the gap for us.

We have topics that explain what happened Sunday. Ty admitted he was upset on the sideline, no different than other players. I don't think this had anything to do with Aaron Rodgers being kept happy. Again, in another topic, We posted quotes from Ty where he said he didn't know who he could trust. Football is the ultimate team sport, you don't have trust to the guy next to you, you have nothing. In addition to that, the comments with Ty saying he scarified money, that he still doesn't know his role on the team and his reasoning for returning the kick ... all in all, Ty needed a change more than the Packers needed Ty gone.

This is just my opinion. Ty is a good dude, really good dude, but Packers shafted him when they didn't put him back to WR after we drafted three RB's. I have full confidence Ty is going to excel with the Ravens. If he can stop fumbling the ball. I believe he also fumbled in preseason, and vs Bills and had another fumble in the Rams game that I think it was Bulaga that recovered it and the broadcast team didn't say anything about.

At least Ty is consistent. This time though, no one was there to tackle his ass lol

Ty Montgomery sucked. At least as a RB. People were blinded by his few game stretch where he found success. He was never going to be a good running back for the Packers. He's too slow and overall average at best. Could he have more success as a WR? I don't know. But I doubt it. He's simply too slow and not shifty enough. I doubt he'll ever be anything more than a fringe depth player. Considering the situation with the Packers, I'm glad he's gone. I hoped he would have been cut, so getting anything for him is a bonus.

He just wasn't as good as Aaron Jones. Then you got those young WRs taking his place there too.

He did sacrifice for the team by making the transition, but damn dude. Hold it together.

He sure seemed slow coming out of the end zone. Why they even put a slow poke in that position is beyond me.
Why not put one of your speed guys out there?
