The Gutekunst Era Has begun with a refreshing, and a long overdue, institution of accountability up and down the organization.

I am greatly heartened by the fact that we weren’t willing to live through another year of Dom Capers. Now we are finally seeing bad performers and underperformers whittled away from the roster. This will send a refreshing message to the entire organization...mediocrity is no longer acceptable.

I hope the entire organization, coaching staff, trainers, and especially the players, should recognize that there is a new sheriff in town. Failure and half-assed efforts will no longer be tolerated.

I havent been this optimistic in a long time.

While I agree with your post, the sheriff is supposed to be the head coach. Maybe next year, right?

How many times has McCarthy said, “ I take full responsibility”? The time is now to finally hold him accountable to his words and fire his ass!

The deep cleaning has begun. Hopefully it doesn't take 3 years to sweep it all out the door.

Mike got his "prove it" year.

He's gonna have to win it all in order to stay.

You all do realize that Mark Murphy is the only one who can fire Mike.

Which if I was Mike McCarthy, I would pull a Holmgren and just get on a plane to Cleveland after the last game and say "Good luck boys"

Then maybe Murphy will give Guttekunst the power to hire the new coach.

Until that happens, it's The Mark Murphy era, not the Guttekunst era.

Murphy should have done a thorough cleaning before the season.

Now it's going to be just another wasted season and McCarthy will get the blame.

Murphy laughing all the way to the bank.

None of your points have anything to do with Dix so I don't understand why you haven't been ranting all season

It's not over until we are mathematically eliminated, but Murphy has done his due diligence, no matter what happens.

Can we get Clevland's first two picks.

Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy

Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Well that didn't take long; Jerod Mayo out as Patriots HC
Zero2Cool (5-Jan) : I would expect it to be higher in favor of Eagles
Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Thst line seems...generous
Zero2Cool (5-Jan) : Eagles -3.5 over Packers in Wildcard Round
Mucky Tundra (5-Jan) : Did it though? Pokes beat the Commanders on the road with Cooper Rush previously

Mucky Tundra (4-Jan) : Stinks for Lloyd. Hoping he comes back strong for next year
