I mean, do you really want to have that conversation again? I certainly don't, even when confronted with statistics that indicate Rodgers is middle of the pack for deep ball attempts it doesn't really seem to change anything so hey, if I spent 4000 hours documenting every NFL QB's passing attempts over the last few years and how often they overlook people who are open, and then consolidated all of that information into a spreadsheet for you what precisely would that change if the statistics showed Rodgers was similarly middle of the pack?

I really believe the scheming and the playcalling are a major part of the problem. I don’t remember whether was last year or the year before MM said that he didn’t believe in scheming guys open. I had thought we were going to see more of the traditional West Coast offense with slants, picks and rubs etc., but they are too few into far between. There was only one screen pass attempted yesterday, and the back cut outside instead of behind his blocking.

What’s worse is that on numerous occasions the Rams defense seemed to be running our patterns ahead of us. The best example of this was the past to graham in Q3. There were two guys converging where the ball was supposed to be thrown before the cut OR the throw.

We are simply way too predictable and stale.

There's plenty of areas where the Packers are much more consistently deficient in ways that are irregular for an NFL team to talk about that have a much larger impact on the outcome of games than "Rodgers throwing it downfield an average number of times and completing it a below average number of times". Things like "Having the 5th best yards per attempt in the league but are 31st in number of attempts and still not running the ball much even when we're not behind 2 scores in the second half", "Bland and predictable offensive playcalling that average defensive coordinators are all over", "A secondary that barring about three names has consistent issues tackling average players and gives up long touchdowns that shouldn't be touchdowns about 1-2 times per game".
