This Manny Machado has had several incidents just in this series. If I were a Dodgers fan, it would piss me off, especially his response to not hustling to 1st base the other game.

I love this lol

The way to address this is a couple of nice high fast balls, up and in, when LA has a man on second and first base is open.

Machado is a PUNK.
Why hasn’t MLB done something about his obvious dirty play? Why hasn’t he been suspended?
They give him no reason to change. No consequences for his actions.
He SHOULD be suspended for the rest of the series.
And when runs are such a premium, you can’t afford to plunk him with a fastball.
Dodgers fans should be ashamed of this punk.

Actually, if there is a man on second base and first base is open, especially if they are way behind or way ahead in a game, you pop him.

This action not only sends a message to him, but to the rest of the Dodgers. It will make them a little less comfortable In the batters box.

The Brewers should take care of it themselves and not wait for the league.

Further, not drilling him sends a message that you’re not willing to stick up for your players.

The National League is so great because the pitchers have to bat, limiting retribution to only the most necessary cases. Arguably this is one of those cases.

If this was a regular season game, I'd say plunk him. But this is the NLCS. And the way runs have been so scarce, I wouldn't put the guy on the bases unless we were up by 10 runs.
I STILL don't get why the commish doesn't suspend the creep.
It just shows that they don't care WHAT the guy does.
No consequences for dirty play? Then why STOP playing dirty???Suspend him, and hit him up with a big fine.

When the Brewers are up 20 - 0 in the 7th inning, go ahead and bring in your pitcher with the most heat and slam his elbow. Then when he charges the mound, instruct the pitcher to piledrive him into the bump followed by a suplex.

I am more of a baseball guy than a football guy.

Having coached five Division I baseball players, four of them pitchers, and one professional baseball player, also a pitcher, I can tell you that if any of them were pitching, Machado would have a fastball or two right under his chin.

Not ON his chin, UNDER his chin. That way, he and his teammates would know the real payback is yet to come. They would dig in a little bit less in the batters box. That’s the way the game is played.

Then, when we had a nice sizable lead or were trailing badly, he would be plunked... Not on the head, but preferably on the knees or ass. That is the right way to do it.

MLB Inc pretends to take action w a token $10,000 fine. More than likely it will be appealed and then reduced to $5,000.

If Milwaukee wants to defend their players they can't wait for the "best" time. Don't wait for a 10 run lead and 1b to be open. That ain't gonna happen.
First time up tomorrow throw it BEHIND him. Players tend to fall away from the plate when the ball comes at them. With the ball behind him it messes with his normal reaction. It's my understanding that professional players hate this more than jock itch. I yield to KRK and his experience.
