This obviously bugs you so I'm not going to defend Florio or PFT. I just want to point out two things. We Packer fans have a dog in this fight in the sense that 3 of the teams mentioned as possible landing spots for Cutler are in our division. We seem to get to pay for the stupidity of our competitors...witness the draft picks the Lions secured from Jerry Jones for Williams.
The second thing I'd like to mention is Clayton and his reporting. I enjoy his input, but I don't get confused about the absolute accuracy of it. For example, we have a thread going on this forum regarding Julius Peppers going to the Patriots, and many think it's practically a done deal. I say...really? Since it has also been (quietly, imo) reported that the two teams have never talked about it, and since Clayton has been reporting on the progress of that trade on practically an hourly basis, I have to ask myself where he gets his information (agent?), or if he has any. Seems to me that Clayton is often in the middle of some serious fishing expeditions with the truth, but like I said, I enjoy it.
The (just left) ombudsman for ESPN effectively admitted that ESPN essentially sucks at true journalism and carries forth with agendas based on journalist's personal biases. These things are fine, but again, don't confuse some of the input with the truth.
If what happened last year with our former QB was a result of advice received by Bus, he did him no favors, imo. If Jay Cutler is demanding a trade based on advice from Bus Cook, I doubt that this is good advice, but that is just my opinion also. Frankly, since none of us know, it's ALL opinion.
This whole Bus Cook episode is one we can mostly sit back and watch unfold without too much emotion- the Favre angle is mostly for the national audience, not us...we Packer fans invested too much anger and frustration last year for this one to matter that much.
Florio stirs poop, but don't think for one second that ESPN doesn't. Like my wise friend told me long ago...
"Once you stir poop with a stick, no matter how old it gets, it's bound to stink."
I don't know if that means anything, but I like it.

I don't know if anyone saw this, but it isn't just PFT or ESPN that is stirring the pot:
