Graduated High School.. went to College at UWGB and UWLAX... worked for a Company out of Cedar Rapids, IA coming out of college, APAC.. started as a Assistant Manager but started to get more into the tech side of the business with the phone switches and call distribution.... but got moved to a team called Team Delta..

TD was a start up team for call centers.. traveled the country for a while, settled back in Green Bay in 1997.. in 1999 they wanted me to go on the road again.. I said no, they said I had to, I resigned with a month notice..

Moved back toward my home town, caught on with a local Window company and moved up through the ranks in three years.. took over the director spot from that point..

In a nutshell.. an analogical thinker that wanted no part of working my tail off on a farm again.. lol.

That is how..

Thanks for asking Shawn. Makes me almost feel badly about the bullshit diploma..........almost!

Actually, I have to go to the rehearsal in about an hour, then I get to go pay for the rehearsal dinner afterward.
Wedding be tomorrow, and then I will officially have a cheesehead daughter-in-law.

And my bank account significantly reduced

That's a great story in itself, you should have included that in your bio. I love La crosse, fishing the Mississippi, the bluffs, it truly is god's country. the bars there are a great time, i never went to school there, but i have friends that attended college in La Crosse. One of my buddies brother played TE for the football team in the early 90's, so we made many road trips to see him play, and I recently had a relative earn her Masters from UW La Crosse, and we had a great time hitting the bars in downtown after her graduation.

I just started working in IT fourteen months ago, after 15 years of pulling wrenches, so I was just wondering why you made the transition. I can not tell you how many farmers I worked with over the last 15 years of working as a maintenance mechanic.

Good to learn something about you at long last, O Venerable Administrator. Speaking of administrators, I was recently promoted to Site Admin at the other forum I moderate. What was my first official act upon attaining that lofty title? Why, to promote a few of my buddies and install them as Moderators, so they could do all the hard work, of course.

Hey, the air is rarified at the top. You can't do too much work -- you'll pass out up there! šŸ˜‰
