Looking Back at: Terrance Murphy

Just curious as to what happened with this guy? I know he had alot of hype about being a good receiver and it's always terrible to see a guy go down in a life changing injury, but i was wondering what condition he was in.
In no way am i thankfull for what happened, but you have to think we would be watching Jennings career in a different color had murphy worked out.

Last year I believe he was a interim WR coach. From there, I think he got a staff spot on a high school team.

He was to coach at Trinity Valley Community College, however I looked up the coaching staff at the college, his name wasn't there.. I wonder what did happen to him..

He had coaching stints at Trinity Valley Community College and with the Packers last year, but decided to move back and settle in Aggieland. Murphy started a real estate company and is opening a new video game franchise called Play N Trade. He remains involved with the university and has told Coach Sherman that he is always available for current Aggie players.

"My goal is to get my companies up and rolling, and in five or 10 years, come back and work for the university. I feel like I have a lot to give back to a university that gave me so much," he said.

Sounds like a real stand up guy, that more or less wants to become rich to help others instead of out of sheer selfishness. Could of been a real team player for a long time i think.

I think he had the same small spinal cord opening that cut Sterling Sharpe's career short. It just happened alot sooner to Murphy.
He looked very talented, too.
