I sure haven’t been “wowed” by our D so far. It looks like the “same old same old”.
I hope I turn out to be wrong.
I expected more from them. I know it’s only preseason.

Have they blitzed or played anything besides man coverage? Preseason is known for bland basic packages so as not to put anything on tape for future opponents to study. I don't think Pettine will show much of anything until week 1. It's one of the benefits of switching coordinators, We're a mystery again.

That’s true. But the push from the D line hadn’t been great, and the tackling has been terrible.
Their RBs have gashed us, just like the last several years.
I hope it’s only because it’s preseason.

Jaire, King, Daniels, Clay, Perry, Wilkerson didnt play, and it's the first preseason game. Why are we assessing how the defense will perform this year?

Quinton Rollins is not an NFL cornerback. Period. Results from Josh Jackson however we far more encouraging. Look for him to continue to improve! This is only the beginning of a long journey.
