If Graham is being unbiased, and coaching up the officials, that could be a very good thing. But in my (non-professional) personal experiences, the guys that are extremely anal about reffing calls are normally the most biased, rarely admit it when they commit a foul and usually demanding a call whenever there is anything iffy.
Also I remember a Seahawks game or two, where the Packers WRs couldn't get off jams, and they spent the whole game informing the officials that they were being grabbed and held during the jam (and they were) and the refs were allowing it. And the Packers WR (those games) weren't stepping up their physical style to match it.
So if defenders are horribly making penalties, then yes inform the officials and try to coach them up (if they're willing to listen), but if it's simply things, then try to fight through it and still make the play.
