I felt like this article did a pretty good job of listening the most interesting training camp battles

QB: Brett Hundley vs. DeShone Kizer
RB: Ty Montgomery vs. Jamaal Williams vs. Aaron Jones

WR: Geronimo Allison vs. the field
RT: Kyle Murphy vs. Jason Spriggs vs. Byron Bell

CB: Battle Royal
SS: Kentrell Brice vs. Josh Jones

I am interested in the following throughout training camp and the preseason:

-How guys are taking in Pettine's defense
-Rookie corners and King. Impact of House and Williams on the young guys
-WR battle outside of Adams/Cobb
-Depth behind Matthews at OLB
-Oren Burks
-Right side of the offensive line

Knowing this team is fielding a new defense has ignited a higher level of excitement for me this season. Can't wait to see Pettine on the sidelines lighting a fire under the D's asses when needed.

Aaron Rodgers is going to throw 52 tds and only 4 ints. <<<----you heard it here first!!!!!!!

Yancey and Davis will feel pressure from the rookie WR trio. Time for them to step up or they might be packing their bags and waiting for their agent to call them.

McCray will have his hands full winning the RG positions. IF Bulaga is healthy Spriggs or Murphy may slid over and grab the spot.

Kinzer is in. Hundley is out. Boyle is on the PS.

Lowry and Adams will press for playing time on the DL.

We shall see if Beagle is as wonderful as some people think he is. I expect him to be middlin average. He will get a few snaps and play on ST for the most part. Cash his check and for 5 - 6 years before calling it a career.

It will be interesting to see how much the safeties play in LB mode and how quickly the rookie CBs can get up to speed. Also is there anything left in the tank when it comes to Williams and House.

I don't see any way Biegel makes it 5-6 years if he is no more than "a guy." The position is to important for that. Next year they have two first round picks with some very good pass rushers supposedly in that draft. Things can change quick in this league. He strikes me as a player that has the drive and desire along with enough ability to become a solid and reliable rotational guy. May not live up to the hype that for whatever reason has been bestowed upon him but I would take that.

With the whole off season to prepare he should certainly produce more than he was capable of last year and the more players you can say that about the better off the D will be.

And while I don't think Biegel stands out as great in any one area, he's a jack of all trades and can be versatile, which I believe will help his chances to have a defensive roll (even if it's a back-up role).

And the Packers coaches love that the vets are passing down their wisdom to the young guys.

And of those guys battling for the last two spots, House is clearly ahead, as he's also ahead of Alexander and Jackson as they adjust to the NFL. And while Jackson is known for making the most INTs in this last college season, he's also known for being pretty dang raw and needing development, which the vets might be able to help with. I forget which vet was helping which rookie, but it almost sounded like the vets decided to each take one, as they focus on the film rooms together.

Though it will be interesting to see if the other young CBs, Rollins, Pipkins, Hawkins, Brown, Waters, or Goodson to make a case for themselves over House... though it take two of them to really step up. Of course if Rollins is back to 100% and playing well, then there might be that chance. Also what are the odds they might keep 7 CBs? ... they've done it a couple of times... and have been known to carry extra positions where they have a lot of rookies.

But I think Tramon makes the case why both of them are most likely going to make it.

“With young guys,” Williams said, “you don’t know how much they can take in. So you do want to have a guy who you know, knows all the positions and is not going to make a lot of mistakes doing it. I feel like I can do that, plus do it at a high level."

Wanna see Herb Waters. Too bad he switched to defense. 🤣
