This guy is like 6'6" or something, right? We're gonna be really damn tall if he's signed. I have read he's really good run blocking.

Spare the "at the right price" crap when answer the following. Do you think the Packers should sign him?

The Green Bay Packers could soon have a new tight end. Good morning and welcome to the Titletown Report for Thursday, May 24. Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst is searching for some tight end depth. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Wednesday that the team is interested in potentially signing Marcedes

Lewis would give us a solid run blocker and a sneaky redzone, short yardage receiving target. I'm all for it!

It would be a good signing, the Packers do not have much depth at TE and Lewis was graded as a top run blocker for his position. This late in free agency he probably could be had for cheap too, maybe something similar to what Kendricks got.

#3 WR
#2 TE
#3 OLB

I think those are the 3 positions the Packers could use an upgrade at before the season starts. With all the young WR on the roster I don't expect a signing there, and there are not a whole lot of OLB options unless the Packers make a trade or wait for someone to get cut. Tight end is probably the way to go.

Don’t overpay but definitely make him an offer.

But a big blocking TE might help, considering the Packers don't really have one, and I read that while Lewis isn't a huge passing game threat, if you overlook him and leave him on one on one match-ups he can hurt a team, as he did scoring 3 touchdowns on the Ravens, when the Packers couldn't score a single point on them.

He's better than Kendricks so yeah I'd be good with signing him.

I love that double fake handoff -- what a thing of beauty. I wish we would see more of that kind of artful deception at the line of scrimmage from Mike McCarthy.
