I think there comes a point where too much change begins to erode the possibility of improvement.
There is a new OC.
There is a revamped offensive playbook.
There is no longer Jordy.
There is now Graham.
Without anything else happening that's a lot of change. Now if you consider adding Bryant and cutting Cobb....wow. Do they really need to go that far? I hope not.

I hope that the new OC and offensive plan will help Cobb and Graham will prove to be a good signing. At least I believe that's been part of the plan all along. That would leave the only hole at the #3 wr position with about 8 players trying to win that spot. I don't see the need for a whole lot more change to end up starting the season in very good shape with our passing game.

Not to forget they need to have a hot start this year the way the schedule is set up. They need to win early and often before that very tough middle of season schedule. They don't have the luxury of time to work their way into becoming familiar with one another.

They've made plenty of changes between players, coaches, and playbook. More than this offense has seen in many years combined. Find a viable #3 and get to work and they will be fine.

Dez isn’t the most precise route runner though. Also not a guy wih deep speed, per se.

Dez won't beat you deep? What do you qualify as deep? Each season since he's been in the NFL he's had at least a long of 46 yards with season longs since his rookie season as follows. 46, 50, 85, 79, 68, 51, 56 and 50 yards. He's had 73 receiving touchdowns in 113 games.

I'm not trying to be his agent here, but I think he can beat you deep. Then again, he hasn't caught a pass longer than 68 yards since 2014.

I know we all say the same damn thing... for the right price, blah blah stfu blah. I really believe Adams, Cobb and Graham are going to make things so easy on the rest of the WR's that we don't need Dez Bryant. Especially since he's probably going to want at least $5 million a year.


I also wouldn't get rid of Randall Cobb for Dez Bryant either. While I have read players say Bryant is a good teammate, I feel Cobb is a better leader.

I have to say no to Dez.

Not because I think he's a "headcase" or any of that, because honestly, I don't think he is. I just rather see that money used to re-sign Muhammad Wilkerson, HaHa Clinton-Dix, or even Clay Matthews or Randall Cobb using some of that 2018 cap left over for the 2019 folks.
