Following GB's first four regular season games , IMO , there is enough to grade the 1st report card .
Mid-season and 3/4 season evaluations will follow in time.

GB's Offense - C+

The Offense has done better each week in spite of injuries at LT and RT and RB . The replacement players have played to the best of their abilities . When GB's full #1 Offensive line and Ty Montgomery get together and get cranked up , look for a score in the A's . Right now they have room to improve and they will !

GB's Defense - C+

The Defense still bends or breaks with the CB's . Kevin King is stepping up and will, IMO, keep getting better each week . House needs to heal up as his position is filled by back - ups . Injuries are hurting the Defense as well. They will improve as they get healthier .

GB's Special Teams - B

GB's Punting and Kicking are doing great , but Special teams includes Kick/Punt Returns as well . I believe that we will see better moving forward for ST Scoring . Defending on Punt/Kick Returns is doing fine , but like the entire ST's , they can get better .

I invite all to post their grades as well .

With the exception of the Falcons game, the defense has kicked @$$... and they don't even get a B?

The defense has been playing better than the offense so far this season and the defense should have a higher grade for it (so far).

Team 3-1 team grade "B +". But I don't mess around with the "+" and "-" stuff so they get a "B".

I'd say

Offense, C+ (I think it will improve once our O-line gets healthy.....IF they get healthy, that is!)

Defense, B Other then against Atlanta, they have been pretty good. Although room for improvement. Getting our injured guys back on D will help a lot too.

Special teams, B

Packers defense dominated the Seahawks and Bengals poor OL and Bears offense fell apart... but I can't discredit the Packers defense for that... especially since they were without Daniels, House and for the 2nd half Randall. So I might give the defense a B+, thought they might be partly because the poor offenses for the most part they've faced.

Special teams. B-... kicking game has been good... but where have the returns been? Also seems like a number of flags... but I could be mistaken.

Offense has disappointed, but I gotta assume that improves if/when we get healthy and McCarthy figures out how to use all of our weapons. He typically is a slow learner when it comes to new toys. On paper, our offense should be unstoppable. We have more weapons than any one else in the league. Who else has 3 very good receivers paired with 2 very good pass catching TEs and a running back who can suddenly turn into a WR on any given play, all of which are being fed the ball by the best QB in the game. The right scheme and the right play caller has this offense dominating every week, McCarthy may not be that guy anymore. I expect to find out by week 10 or so.

buckeyepackfan (16h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (16h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (16h) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (16h) : well, he was

Mucky Tundra (17h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (21h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (21h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (21h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (26-Jan) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)

Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
