Well.....just shows (to me at least) that we HAD guys with talent, but either didn't know HOW to use them, or......no "or" actually.
Capers had good players, but didn't seem to know what he had. Then "Uncle Ted" lets them walk because he doesn't want to pay them what they are worth.
No, he would rather draft injured players with "potential" instead of paying ones that are proven good players. (See: Justin Harrell and Kevin King)
He would rather pay "bargain basement" prices on MAYBES, then to pay known commodities.
That's why we can't win against good teams.
Time to clean house, before Aaron Rodgers rides off into the sunset (or he goes to the Vikings, who show they at least WANT to try to win).
