He's back. Almost. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to play. The quarterback posted the news on social media. His return, on Sunday against the Panthers, will come nine weeks after he suffered a broken collarbone against the Vikings. It required 13 screws and a couple of plates to hold it in place. It's not Sunday yet but I didn't think he could get back into playing shape. Way to go AR.

A worst hurricane hits New Orleans...Saints win SB.
A worst flood hits Houston...Astros win WS
A few Black coaches in league...two meet in SB [Chic v. Colts] and one team stunk, Rex Grossman? are ya kidding me?!?!
2 Harbaughs in league...they meet in SB w/ a mediocre and bad QB.
Rams QB goes down, some grocery bagger is made QB, he is not only serviceable; but he has one of greatest passing seasons ever and goes to HOF.

Sports outcomes are clearly choreographed by Hollywood writers. Now how would the writer work it this year? Yea Hundley wins 2, Rodgers comes back, Atl beats NO, Carolina beats Minnesota, so GB can eek into playoffs on week 17 and of course win SB.

Cheers for Aaron Rodgers and how well he has done recovering from such a bad injury. The question now is do you throw him back in harms way and risk an even greater injury for a slim chance that other teams will loose and allow GB into the playoff if they win out.

Most of you that want AR to play vs Carolina. Win at all cost now. Damn the torpedo's, full speed ahead.

If this were a poker game, one would weigh out the odds of remaining in the pot or folding until you had a better hand to play. IMO, GB should go with Hundley for the rest of this season and regroup for next season.
In addition, GB might be better off in the off season with higher draft picks.

More than just short term benefits are at stake. We all want GB to win, but risking GB's next 5 or 6 seasons could be on the line.

[cheers]

I have mixed emotions......the fear of reinjury is there. But he wants to play, and with the docs clearing him, I say let him play.
