Only the Jaguars have a better team passer rating on defense than Ravens.
Only the Rams have more interceptions on defense than the Ravens.
Only Chiefs, 49ers, Chargers and Giants are giving up more yards rushing per game than Ravens.

Based on the small sample stats just mentioned, this is not a game you want your best RB missing, haha. Brett Hundley is going to have to be really smart. In other words, ...

By the numbers this should be a very favorable matchup for us. Our run defense between the tackles is the strength of our defense, and they are going to want to pound the ball right at that strength. Their passing offense is worst in the league. We are going to want to keep power running like against the bears and Ravens rush defense is 28th. If Ravens manage to stop our run game, it is going to be a long day. If not we should come away with another W.

Optimistically hoping for the W 24-17

I'm guessing the Ravens because I think they have a better defense and more veteran QB, who'll find little extra things more often.

I feel slightly optimistic about this game. Baltimore is one of those teams that show up one week, and disappear the next. Flacco has 10 picks on the year, so there may be some opportunities for the secondary.

If we run the ball well and convert 3rd downs - this is a game we should win. Outside of their pass D, there is not a whole lot to worry about - other than our poor pass D. Whoever wins the turnover battle wins this game.

Not a lot of help from other teams last week.
Cowboys lost, so I will start with them.

Eagles(8-1) @ 'Boys(5-4)
Dallas loses their starting LT and RB and seems it's just too much! 😂😂
Eagles flying high.
'Boys call it a season.
Eagles 37 Cowboys 17

Redskins (4-5) @ Saints (7-2)
Saints are becoming real scary ad they are now running the ball better than they are passing.
Would love to see The Redskins pull off the upset, but don't see it happening.
Saints 38 Redskins 24

Falcon (5-4) @ Seahawks (6-3)
One of those matchup that will benefit The Packers either way. I would prefer The Falcons win this one. 12th man goes home crying.
Falcon 23 Seahawks 20

Lions (5-4) @ Bears (3-6)
Lions start there annual implosion, Bears will continue to get better.
A home win gives their fans hope for the future.
Bears 23 Lions 21

Rams (7-2) @ Vikings (7-2)
Game of the week!
Jarrod Goff proves he is for real, Case Keenum makes his last start for The Vikings.
Rams 26 Vikings 16

Ravens(4-5) @ Packers (5-4)

Against the wishes of a lot of the members here The Packers will show that they haven't thrown in the towel.
Hundley takes another step forward.
The running game stays unspectacular but solid with Williams and Mays.
Sounds like the D will once again be without Burnett.
Blake Martinez has taken over the QB position (he has mice'd helmet) allowing Ha Ha to just play ball.
Through all the gloom and doom here on packershome, The Packers will prevail.

Packers 23 Ravens 13
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

I am not as down on this team as I was in the past couple of weeks. I like the steps Hundley is taking and he seems to be gaining confidence. It is nice to see the WR stepping up for him as well. The offensive line has also been playing good as well which is nice to see with yet another shift in personnel.

Even though Flacco has been absolutely brutal this season (having one of the top 10 worst seasons), there is nothing more favorable for a struggling QB/offense than going up against a Dom Capers special. I feel bad for the players on this defense. Flacco will throw close to 300 yards on them, 2-3 touchdowns.

Packers make less mistakes and squeak one out. 24-21

Ravens starting LT being out, might give the Packers defense a chance

Though King's injured shoulder doesn't sound good... when asked, he said there were different opinion on if he would need surgery after the season... and sounds like Capers was limiting his role some because he's clearly hurt and sometimes playing like it.

Our 49ers pick-ups have been often injured this season... it'll be interesting, do we resign them? (of course that probably depends on what they cost to resign).

Injury Report

Out
S Burnett
RB Jones
RB Montgomery
OT Bulaga

Doubtful
LT Stanley (Ravens starter)

Questionable
CB King
OLB Brooks
DT Dial
OG Patrick

Ravens Questionable
TE Boyle (2nd string)
WR Campanaro (2nd string)
S Clark (3rd string)
CB Smith (starter)
RB West (2nd string)
LB Williams (3rd string)

Ravens lead the league in INTs. Hundley has been playing to tentative, playing scared. He started coming out of that last week in the 4th quarter. This could be a dangerous week for him.

If he goes back into his shell, it could effect his confidence. Then again, if he throws an INT or two, that could mess with his head too, especially going into the Pittsburgh game next week. Can he get in the zone without turning the ball over? We're gonna need him today.

Dude needs to not play safe, just let it rip, go out there and strike at the defense. PROBLEM: Mike's textbook doesn't tell you how it FEELS to be in the game. It just tells you where to put your feet, and how to make your reads, etc. You have to then translate that into the real world first person experience. Mike has never had a grasp of psychology, which is why his teams are inconsistent and always go into lulls.

Step into the throws, STRIKE at the defense, don't delicately try to piece together a play step by step, remembering what the textbook said. STRIKE at the defense! This attitude will help him ANTICIPATE when guys are going to come open, hf will be able to SEE it happening before it does.

He was a little looser, but still tight on that first drive. He was striking, but still underthrowing, like on that long pass to Davante. But that first INT really spooked him. He want back into his shell.

And if you don't think Mike (or any of the coaches or teammates for that matter) haven't done more than just talk the physical fundamentals of the game you are sadly mistaken. Thing is Hundley just isn't very good. I have said it before it takes about 3 years to learn the QB position. If that is the average then there are some guys who need 5 or 6 years if they are given that long. It took Alex Smith 6 years to climb up from the pit to get to being an average QB.
