Ravens starting LT being out, might give the Packers defense a chance

Though King's injured shoulder doesn't sound good... when asked, he said there were different opinion on if he would need surgery after the season... and sounds like Capers was limiting his role some because he's clearly hurt and sometimes playing like it.

Our 49ers pick-ups have been often injured this season... it'll be interesting, do we resign them? (of course that probably depends on what they cost to resign).

Injury Report

Out
S Burnett
RB Jones
RB Montgomery
OT Bulaga

Doubtful
LT Stanley (Ravens starter)

Questionable
CB King
OLB Brooks
DT Dial
OG Patrick

Ravens Questionable
TE Boyle (2nd string)
WR Campanaro (2nd string)
S Clark (3rd string)
CB Smith (starter)
RB West (2nd string)
LB Williams (3rd string)

Ravens lead the league in INTs. Hundley has been playing to tentative, playing scared. He started coming out of that last week in the 4th quarter. This could be a dangerous week for him.

If he goes back into his shell, it could effect his confidence. Then again, if he throws an INT or two, that could mess with his head too, especially going into the Pittsburgh game next week. Can he get in the zone without turning the ball over? We're gonna need him today.

Dude needs to not play safe, just let it rip, go out there and strike at the defense. PROBLEM: Mike's textbook doesn't tell you how it FEELS to be in the game. It just tells you where to put your feet, and how to make your reads, etc. You have to then translate that into the real world first person experience. Mike has never had a grasp of psychology, which is why his teams are inconsistent and always go into lulls.

Step into the throws, STRIKE at the defense, don't delicately try to piece together a play step by step, remembering what the textbook said. STRIKE at the defense! This attitude will help him ANTICIPATE when guys are going to come open, hf will be able to SEE it happening before it does.

He was a little looser, but still tight on that first drive. He was striking, but still underthrowing, like on that long pass to Davante. But that first INT really spooked him. He want back into his shell.

And if you don't think Mike (or any of the coaches or teammates for that matter) haven't done more than just talk the physical fundamentals of the game you are sadly mistaken. Thing is Hundley just isn't very good. I have said it before it takes about 3 years to learn the QB position. If that is the average then there are some guys who need 5 or 6 years if they are given that long. It took Alex Smith 6 years to climb up from the pit to get to being an average QB.

That first INT shell shocked him. And remember, this D leads the league in INTs.
