I would sign Vick....I think he can still be a great player in the NFL.

Yes, TO can too, but he causes problems in the locker room no matter where he goes.

I hate what Vick did, but I'm talking in terms of football.

I still think if T O was in a no nonsense enviornment he could work as in playing with a veteran QB. Can't see him pulling some of that stuff with Manning or Brady.
As for Vick I'm not at all agreeing with what he did but I'm still from the country where killing a dog is far from killing a person. These days it seems a lot of people have the two mixed up. Kill a person that's not very cool but heaven forbid you touch a dog or they'll lock you up

T.O. would be T.O. NO matter the situation. You'd be a fool to think it would change. You might try and bring up the argument that it worked for Moss. But I believe Moss did some growing up. And there was more to it than the Patriots.

I never thought Vick was anything great anyway.
Sure, he could run, but his passing? Average at best.

OK, morality and personality problems aside. TO is one of the top WRs in the past decade. Vick is a dangerous scrambler who's probably mediocre at best at THROWING the football.

I'd take TO. He's a playmaker. The only WR I'd take consistently over TO in the past decade is Randy Moss.

I don't know the stats on Vick's passing, but I gotta believe that it is better than average. Again, not sure, I'll have to do some research..

But to answer the question, Vick, hands down.

T.O. is over rated. I've seen SOO many of his catches that he was more lucky to have caught them than it took talent to catch them. It's almost his hands are made of rock, and the ball bounces around between them before he gets his claws on it/or the refs call it a catch. Don't get me wrong, he's talented. But, still, over rated.

There are about 4 or so other WRs that I'd take over T.O. Fitzgerald, Moss, Boldin, and Reggie Wayne are 4 just from the top of my head that I'd take over T.O.

Oh, and my team needs a QB.

As far as the morality of Mr. Vick.. He's paying his dues now. And you better believe that the NFL will still penalize him when he's done with his sentence. When/If he gets reinstated, I gotta believe he'll come out a smarter, better human being. What he did, was wrong. But I also recognize that he's human, along with the rest of us. Not to mention.. I hate to say it, especially to those of you whom are dog lovers (this includes me), but, his victims.. were dogs. Not beings capable of moral fiber and emotional or logical decision making. Murder of a human being will ALWAYS be the greater 'sin' over the murder of a dog.

I agree as far as killing a human is worse then killing a dog.
It's the whole cruelty with which it was done on a daily basis for "fun" that makes this such a horrible crime.
I'm a hunter.......I kill animals for food. My goal has always been to kill as fast and humanely as possible. I won't take a shot unless i'm sure that it will be a good one. I don't kill for "thrill". And most of the time, i come home with nothing.
purposely putting animals through a horrible painful death should not be "fun". To me, you have to be some kind of a sicko to do that. It's not just the "tough" dogs that got tortured, they would throw in a weak dog just to give the "mean" one something to tear apart.
And thats entertainment?
If the guy would have confessed and not lied all the way along, i'd feel better about giving him another chance. But ONLY when the evidence was impossible to lie his way through did he say "I'm sorry".
To me, the only thing he's sorry for is getting caught doing something that sick.

I'm definitely not disputing the cruelty. My point was that he's paying his dues for it. Is his sentence the same as it would be if, oh say, you or me were doing the crime? I have no idea. But, he is bankrupt. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have any sort of serious income (Nike drop him from their endorsements?).

Also, lets not forget, he got in bigger trouble with the Feds because of the gambling done across state lines.

My point was, it's very much a possibility that he has changed his ways. Or, at least lets hope he's changed his associations. I'm willing to give him another chance if the NFL is.

TO already starting crap, we says he is #81 even though James Hardy already wears that number. He says the gm will fix that for him.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
