McCarthy's offense is not a WCO anymore.

So you want them to switch to something they haven't practiced? Rather than running the ball.

It may not have been total WCO, but it felt that we ran a WCO like offense on our run last year to the playoffs. It does seem that WCO helps to establish an offensive rhythm. That could certainly help Hundley get comfortable.

I agree wholeheartedly. I think Huntley is overrated TBH but he's servicable, but the coaching staff did him zero favors in this game. Minnesota was determined to stop the run, it was obvious Rodgers wasn't coming back anytime soon, and McCarthy immediately turned the game into a run-fest which did jack shit for getting Huntley into a rhythm or taking pressure off him. There's no way the Packers could dominate the game on the ground - high percentage passes, screens are what you want to do in conjunction with the run. If the defense starts stacking the line of scrimmage, then you might throw a deep one but no shit they were going to blitz.

How many screens does McCarthy runs? I don’t think I’ve seen them trap block either. Maybe we can get Holmgren to call plays the next 6-8 weeks.

It would Surprise me to see MCCarthy make those drastic of changes to his play calling. He didn’t last time when Rodgers was out an extended period.
