Losing vs Being Embarrassed

This team has been embarrassing even when we win, starting wih the training staff.

From 2006, the year before Turley arrived on the Farm, as Stanford’s campus is known, through last season, the number of games missed because of injury on the two-deep roster dropped by 87 percent. In 2012, only two Cardinal players required season-ending or postseason surgical repair; this year, only one.

It's not as fun watching the games when our thinnest position immediately gets gutted, to where we're literally starting out 7th or 8th string LT. I'm a Hundley guy, I think we can still go all the way. Maybe Brett will even be more fundamentally sound. But I am SICK of being embarrassed, especially against Minnesota.

Can we NOT go into a lull? When we've got 2/3 of our team out with injuries, there's no margin for this kind of error.

You're embarrassed because players got injured? News Flash, they don't want to be injured! Shit Happens.

You should be embarrassed by your own actions, not by injured players.

We didn't lose because we lost Aaron. Teams win games all the time without Aaron Rodgers. We lost today, because we shit ourselves. Granted, the training staff seems to lead the way in that regard, but we are still a good team.

If we don't make the playoffs, it won't be for lack of talent. In fact, we're still in it for HFA.
