Why does Fox, white supremacy, and the alt right get brought up in reply to an actual quote from CK7?
Villanueva was certainly pressured to make a statement regarding his actions. You applaud a person who caved and long for a world where everyone caves to peer and public pressure? Sounds like someone has latent dictatorial fantasies.
CK7 spoke for himself way back when but look not only what this has morphed into but how what he said is being spun by those with agendas and higher aspirations.

Kap should be praised for evolving in his ideas not denigrated. What is the purpose of bringing up a PARTIAL past quote, which misrepresents the tenor of the totality of his statements, that no longer has any meaning whatsoever?
I see People frothing at the mouth, "I'm here to watch football, what is this political crap messing with my game." Please explain to this to me. How the hell does this show of unity/protest take away the football experience in any way?
People so lathered up supposedly about others disrespecting the Anthem that they boo. It's not disrespectful to boo during the Anthem? I think that's a lot worse than respectfully protesting, right?
Why dont these same people get all lathered up about pink cancer awareness week stuff? that has nothing to do with football and ya gotta look at all that pink stuff all game.
Fan outrage has absolutely NOTHING to do with disrespecting the Anthem...NOTHING!
Dodgers were expecting 26K for their 1947 opener, which was also Jackie Robinson's first game. There were 6K no shows; but the stands were filled with thousands of Blacks dressed in their Sunday bests, most of whom were attending their first opener. So at east 1/3, maybe 1/2, of White Dodgers fans boycotted.
Dodgers fans were making a real big deal that Robinson was allowed to play, they were all lathered up that baseball was being disrupted. The game really wasn't disrupted, was it? They wouldn't boycott if Rickey started his 8 YO grandson at 2nd base, would they? Because fan outrage had nothing to do with disrupting the game, though in '47 you could be a bit more honest about your racial objections.
