Lang to Evans = A lot worse run blocking

And Bak and Bulaga not fully healthy.

Our run game has not been right since McCarthy. That is a lot of different RB and Linemen. They can't all be bad at the run game. P

The line might open no holes but there were like two plays this game where Monty seemed to have some burst. The rest of the game he seemed to just be plodding along, not gassed but like he was stuck in second gear.

He seemed slow and indesisive. Not like he hit the hole last season.
Add the fact that the o line can't run block, and it adds up to a pedestrian run game.
They better fix it, or it will be a long season.
Again, I'm ticked at Ted for letting our best o line guys leave in free agency.

They showed a stat that he has played the most snaps of any RB in the league. That is on the coaches. You cant have a former WR play that many snaps... Guess that shows the faith they have in all the rookie RBs on the roster. If they're not careful, we'll have to depend on those rookies a lot more.

Why are you ticked at Ted Thompson? I don't understand this. Josh Sitton had to be let go and his replacement Lane Taylor has done a damn good job. TJ Lang CHOSE to sign with the Lions and be closer to home. He's from Michigan. How this on Ted Thompson? I don't get this constant barrage of disdain towards Ted Thompson when we seem to always ignore the plethora of factors that go into a player signing here, or elsewhere. It is NEVER just one person at fault. NEVER.

As for Ty Montgomery. He (among others) look to be playing scared and uptight. It's as if he's afraid (and several others) to make a mistake.

When Montgomery gets ~135 yards Thursday, things will be good in the hood.
