The Packers had a long list of injured players at Wednesday's practice and one of them will be headed for surgery. Coach Mike McCarthy announced on Thursday that linebacker Nick Perry will have surgery on his injured hand. Welp, we can probably plan on Nick Perry not being very effective for most the season, just like the last time he had a hand injury.

From the initials rumblings it doesn't sound like the injury or surgery is as severe as last year.

Perry is a big loss, outside of Daniels I don't think anyone else has looked better on defense. Hopefully the return timeframe is short and the club is off come January.

I THINK he was being sarcastic. (You know, for all the ones that keep complaining that our guys don't stretch enough, thus end up injured).
Injuries happen to ALL teams. We of course pay much more attention to the ones on the Packers, as they are "our" team.

Although technically this injury is more of a finger issue rather than a hand surgery. So hopefully it's less severe.
