Sunday, a couple of groups are trying to coordinate protests in every city hosting an NFL game just like the one already set for Seahawks opener in Seattle over the Anthony Lamar Smith verdict.

Anthony Lamar Smith was assassinated by a white cop, who was acquitted. First, the cop put public at risk by firing at by Smith as he was fleeing the cops, who said they witnessed a potential drug exchange. While chasing Smith this dope cop crashed into a pole. After resuming the chase, he then said he was “going to kill that mother fucker.” Then Smith lost control and crashed, and when the cop got there he crashed into Smith’s car that was already stopped/crashed. He got out with his personal AK47; went around to driver’s side without using proper procedure. His partner approached without gun drawn; and the Cop plugged Smith 4 times w/his issued revolver. The Cop went back to his vehicle and laid his AK47 in back seat. He went back to Smith’s car. He again returned to his car and pulled a side arm out of a duffle bag and planted it in Smith’s glove compartment. The evidence showed the clean drop gun only had only the Cop’s DNA on it; Smith’s DNA was not on the gun, nor was gun registered to the cop. It was a “clean drop piece.”

To satiate the People a sham trial was staged by Prosecutor, defense and judge. The prosecutor for the first time in case like this history agreed to a bench trial so the judge could acquit. And only charged him w/ 1st degree and not with lesser charges. No legit prosecutor charges only the max or forgoes the jury in a case like this.

Just my opinion
Wouldn't this topic be better suited for "Around The NFL " section?
Or The Back Alley?

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Let's see....did the guy stop and give himself up, or did he "flee" from police???

Once again, if the guy would have done what the cop said, HE WOULDNT HAVE GOT SHOT.
I've said it over and over again. DO WHAT THE POLICE SAY, and you won't get shot.
But heck, blame the cops. It's not like their jobs are easy.
I'm not saying it's right to plant evidence.
A cop should be prosecuted for that.

Cops planting evidence should be prosecuted, thank god for some miracles. But, why would a cop plant evidence in a crime scene where they just shot someone? This is called “mens rea” or the intention or knowledge to do wrong.

And that’s the problem, cops are not prosecuted for these things. And when they are; it's a total sham. Prosecutors, judges and defense teams putting on a show to calm the masses. Why was there only a charge for 1st degree? This is NEVER EVER done! And why no jury? Why did the defendant waive his right to a jury trial? He knew he’d have a better chance with a judge. Why did the prosecutor go along? He was working with defense, they knew the evidence of the cop planting the gun, would make acquittal by 12 jurors impossible.

Why is a white GA state cop saying we only shoot blacks?

We does the White Mayor of NY say that he speaks to his Black children about surviving an encounter with police?

Why are their hundreds of videos of Blacks being killed, tasered, beaten, groped, verbally abused, shoved, knocked around and/or threatened by cops for everyone of a white person?

Amazing how some idiots will in support of criminals.

Still waiting for a "protest" after the shooting of a Hispanic criminal who didn't follow police instruction.

What we need is a Taser Grenade that will take out all these asinine "protesters"
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Again (for those with a short attention span) DO WHAT THE POLICE TELL YOU TO DO, AND YOU WON'T END UP SHOT!
Why is that so hard to comprehend???
Once someone flees from the police, it puts the police on high alert that this person will do anything to escape. They might even try to KILL the cop.
Don't flee, you won't end up dead.
Simple, if you ask me.

Without protest, there’d still be “negro sections” on lunch counters and buses.

The 1st Amendment is first; because it is the most important. This nation is ruled by consent of the People, which provides opportunity for a majority acting in their own interest to harm the rights of a minority. Because the minority lacks political currency to redress the harm, there is always a 3 steps progression: (1) appeal to the majority to do right; (2) Protest; and (3) violence.

Sometimes the violence substantially prevails to the point that laws and/or society changes [EG the American Revolution, the labor movement; the suffragette movement; ending Black Codes/segregation, etc.]. Sometimes superior governmental violence squashes the minority and their oppression continues [EG Native Americans or “Redskins” for the monosyllabic football fan].

Being a good American is a lot like being a good forum poster. You simply gotta have respect for People…ALL PEOPLE, not just your kind or your clique. If you don’t, the result is ALWAYS the same: disrespect is followed by VIOLENCE and DESTRUCTION.

Failing to respect Protest threatens our national security, much the same way it can destroy a forum. Respecting protesters is one of the most Americans thing anyone can do!
