I believe this is the PS so far
QB Callahan,
WR Yancey
T Pankey,
G Amacia,
OLB Gilbert,
ILB Matthews
CB Brown,
DL Lunsford

My guesses are another WR ... then look between TE, RB and S...
Of the Packers released players, I'm thinking WR Clark and TE Peck.
Followed by S Whitehead or S Taylor.

I'm going to guess the last two spots are Michael Clark and someone else's cut.

Because if you knew they were going to the IR, I would think you would want them there ASAP as sooner as they go on the IR, the sooner they can return... unless the injury is so bad that it's unlikely they're going to be ready in 6 weeks anyways.

Of course... it's only a day until Quinton Dial gets here... so maybe I'm just overthinking this.

We have literally no idea what we have in Adams. I'd rather IR just because of that. Tough to know anything about a guy after only 2 practices. Could be a complete waste of a roster spot for all anyone knows.

Simpler:

The player is eligible to return to practice if he has been on the IR list for at least six weeks from the date he was placed on Reserve. He is eligible to return to the active list if he has been on the IR list for at least eight weeks from the date he is placed on Injured Reserve.
