You wrecked football for me, Barfarn. I lived 40+ years thinking it was a video game. You suck.
It's McCray not McCrary. He's so obscure a lot of us don't even know his name.
Point is we didn't keep the 53 best players. We don't draft based on best player either. I'm disappointed with the philosophy we go with although I understand it.

When he made the team I knew Barclay and Patrick were not gonna be ready.
I keep telling you its not a video game; if we have a better 53 than Hawks do we start w/ a 21 point advantage? Who gives a flying fuck about the best 53! Each move is made to put GB in the best position to WIN games, not win roster awards. If the top 53 guys are all offensive linemen, is that all we should keep? If Pipkins is #55; and MCaffery #53; but only Pipkins may get claimed, who should be on the 53? And as a secondary concern, and speaking of only talent, keeping the best 63 is infinitely more important than keeping the best 53.
And again in your video game version Ted is drafting for need, wrong again 'cause you're refusing to put down your god damn controller and look at reality. If we were weak at CB and Ted had 5 guys left in his tier, 2 RB, 2 QB and 1 CB, drafting the CB is not drafting for need. If he was drafting for need he would have picked King at 27. But he had at least 6 players of various positions in the tier and traded back 6 places; he knew he could pick up a 4th and draft a guy of the exact same skill level who may or may not be a CB. In your video game there is a difference of 20% between pick 27 and 33, in 2017 there is no difference between those 6 players. In 2nd round we got a safety, were there not positions that were of greater need? All those years we had very weak safeties and ILBs and he passed on them round after round. He selected a QB in 1st round in 2006, arguably the STRONGEST position on that team? Its absurd and unsupportable to claim Ted drafts for need! He is so dedicated to this philosophy he didn't draft Reid or Cyprian or Perryman or Vikings' Kendricks; when the need was quite extreme.
