Pass protection remains an adventure for the Packers' 2016 second-round pick. On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers  moved to 2-0 on the preseason courtesy of a 21-17 win over Washington. The final score matters little, however, as the coaches care far more about the game film they can devour over the next few days. With all but 12 members of the 90-man roster participating in the game, the team has plenty of good and poor performances to consider.
Last night, we covered the players who left the strongest impressions against Washington . We continue with those that had the roughest outings in the stock down report.
Trevor Davis
After raising his stock a week ago  with his dynamic punt returns, Trevor Davis took a step back on Saturday. He muffed his first punt return, turning a three-and-out into a new possession for Washington in the red zone. A turnover on punt return nailed Davis to the bench midway through his rookie season. It remains to be seen how the coaching staff reacts to his latest blunder. The Packers probably don't have a more dangerous punt returner, but they value ball security over everything.
Jason Spriggs
After a rough star to the preseason, Jason Spriggs played even worse during his follow-up performance. The second-year offensive tackle entered the game midway through the first quarter and consistently yielded pressure late into the third, including multiple sacks of mobile quarterbacks Brett Hundley  and Joe Callahan. Spriggs seemed easily confounded by nearly any stunt and counter move Washington's pass-rushers threw at him, a bad look for a former second-round pick. His draft status and upside should secure him a roster spot in 2017, but the Packers might have to elevate someone above him on the depth chart should something happen to starting tackles David Bakhtiari  or Bryan Bulaga .
Justin Vogel
Even as the only punter on the Packers' 90-man roster, Justin Vogel still must avoid poor performances in order to secure a job come September. Though his 47-yard average against Washington suggests a strong showing, his lack of consistency could cost him when the coaches grade the tape. According to ESPN's Rob Demovsky , Vogel's hang time fell under four seconds multiple times, well below the threshold Green Bay expects of its punters. Vogel's best punts -- such as his 60-yard boomer -- highlight why the team brought him into camp. However, if he cannot eliminate the duds, the front office has shown the willingness to call an audible at the 11th hour .

I was pretty excited when they drafted Springs. It takes more time for some but he has been disappointing so far.

I'm shocked with how bad Spriggs was last night, especially because it seemed like every single play. That is very concerning.

Spriggs still has a couple more weeks to pull it together.

Maybe Murphy can get some LT reps?

Spriggs was absolutely the Packers worst offensive lineman on the field last night.
However he will be on the team because of his draft status.
Sorrowfully the Packers have no depth on the offensive line.
This could be their Achilles heal this year.

Mucky Tundra (1h) : After the way they played for most of the game yesterday, I don't see how you can sit anyone for the whole game
Zero2Cool (3h) : I'd say play everyone. Going into playoffs at 7th seed on two game lose streak - yucky
Zero2Cool (3h) : Do the Packers have any best players?
beast (4h) : Play or Rest*
beast (4h) : Should the Packers play or free their best players vs the Bears?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Packers should be 3 - 2 in the Division. Bonkers being swept by both Lions and Vikings. yikes
go.pack.go. (6h) : All crazy stuff…and good point beast
beast (6h) : Packers should be 0-5 in the division, can't say I saw that coming, even 1-4
Zero2Cool (6h) : Sam Darnold 35 TD's ... another one
Zero2Cool (6h) : Baker Mayfield, 39 TD's ... can't say I saw that one

go.pack.go. (7h) : That would be dhazer who was rooting for Minnesota
beast (15h) : Well, Commanders are currently the 6th seed and Packers the 7th
beast (15h) : Who was it in Chat, that wanted the Vikings to win (because Lions fans upset them) because Packers could not lose the 6th seed?
beast (17h) : If Falcons win, Packers stay as the 6th seed and Falcons lead the NFCS, if they lose, Commanders 6th and Bucs take NFCS lead
beast (17h) : Win or Loss, the NFCS is going down to week 18
Mucky Tundra (18h) : if the Falcons win, how does that affect the overall NFC playoff picture? Does it mean that the NFC South comes down to week 18?
beast (18h) : If Commanders win, the Packers drop to the 7th seed
beast (22h) : Taylor still at it!
beast (22h) : Colts get the ball and fumble turn over

Mucky Tundra (27-Dec) : Kanata, seek help! lol
beast (27-Dec) : I was rooting for the Bears to win and hurt their draft pick status
Zero2Cool (27-Dec) : Forgot there was even a game last night haha
TheKanataThrilla (27-Dec) : That was terrible.
TheKanataThrilla (27-Dec) : Watching that game in its entirety yesterday is proof positive that I am a football addict.
beast (27-Dec) : And horrible time management multiple times... and not being able to score more than 3 points on a team with talent
beast (27-Dec) : Realizing the Bears didn't fix it from the previous week and do the same thing, getting the game to overtime
beast (27-Dec) : They probably are not tanking, but they've absolutely mismanagement some things, such as Vikings seeing the Packers blocked FG and realizing
Zero2Cool (27-Dec) : Crazy of Bears to have that mindset that is
Zero2Cool (27-Dec) : Hail Mary stop away from 5 - 2. Not sure how that flips to tanking. Crazy mindset if true
