Goodson is coming off an ACL injury and might not compete in training camp, which I think helps other case, as if it was just STs, then Goodson might have it wrapped up.

I thought Mays would go undrafted because his Senior year was horrible due to injuries. That could be a possible reason he wasn't drafted until the 7th.

With that last comment, are you assuming RB Jones is a lock over RB Mays? Personally I think they could battle the 3rd RB and my way too early 53 roster prediction, I had 1 FB and 3 RBs, with the 4th RB going to the PS. (that was because I had the Packers also keeping 3 QBs, 7 WRs and 9 OL).

Amichia played Center as a freshman in college and at the NFL they announced his selection as a Center... so I think Amichia is the Packers future back-up Center (at worse), as Taylor, Linsley, Evans and Barcaly are all in contract years. But now they don't have to resign two Centers come FA time.

I had Patrick over Kofi in my prediction, but that was because Patrick looked pretty good last training camp even with a club on his broken hand... fully healthy and a full offseason, and he should look even better.

Gilbert and Calvin are both bigger OLBers and competing for the 6th OLB spot.

Dupre would of been on my list too if not for WR Davis.

Lowry was an honorary part of my group as the DL as a whole. Also Adams, to a degree, but it seems as if a lot of DTs struggle as rookies, which I've heard some explain as it takes them longer to adjust to the NFL quickness and power of the inside of NFL OL.

DL Price is an interesting selection, but the Packers normally only keep 5 or 6 DL, and with Daniels, Clark, Lowry, Jean-Francois, Adams... 5 spots seem to be locked up. And if they keep a 6th spot, then there is Ringo, Price, Lunsford and MAYBE... MAYBE... Guion for that 6th spot.

I didn't think about Allison for this list, but that's because I've heard a lot of people assuming that he's a lock for the 4th WR spot, and so from what I'm personally hearing, he's not under the radar. But if he's not on others radar then that's a great selection.

1. Yes Goodson is coming off ACL it kinda slipped my mind. I was thinking this is his last chance once again. But he was done so well on ST. PUP for him then who knows.

2. Mays did have a poor Sr yr. It's hard to define "Under the radar". If people are excited about him and think he will be able to step up is that really "under the radar" or not? Idunno. Depends on how you want to look at it. If he had been a UDFA that would have made him more under the radar to me than what he is. As you observed with Allison, I change my definition a little bit. As for Jones being a lock, I don't think he's a lock. I think he is ahead of Mays. Without putting on pads and running any plays my guess is his chances are 60-40 at worst, 70-30 at best. I hope they only keep 1 FB but I have his nagging feeling they will keep Kerridge too. If he sticks Mays or Jones is out. If he doesn't make it both Mays and Jones might. Or as you observed they may use that spot for for Callahan. If they were to keep only 6 WRs that would make it easier to keep an extra RB but there again I think Ted and Mike will go for the extra WR ad have him inactive so they don't risk losing him off he PS.

3. It's looking like Amichia very well may make the team even without practicing in pads so like so may others is he under the radar? Perhaps.

4 & 5. I think Davis as a lock. Or at least 80%. But i liked our pick because under the radar can mean players who need to make that next step. I don't see Allison as the #4. I think it is Davis. Allison is 5th or 6th. Thus he's on my list.

6 & 7. I know Lowry is a part of your HM-DL group and I have no issue with that. Once again I have him here because he needs to take that next step. I think he could, given enough snaps. With people looking at Clark to get more time on the field and Adams as a possible wunderkind, Jean-Francois' ability to play in multiple positions, that is, potentially, squeezing Lowry. I don't think people are looking to Lowry to take a larger role this year.
Price would also fall into your HM list. With so much attention to the others in the group he may not make it this year. He as one of the guys I thought could make it to the first 53 cut down last year and he didn't. He may well not make it this year either. I don't see GB keeping Guion after his 4 game susp.

One of the hardest parts of all this is- unless there are injuries, unless there are players falling on their faces and failing miserably to do what is expected of them, there are so few slots available for under the radar candidates. Kerriage for example can play his butt off and excel beyond anyone's imagination. he best he can hope for is #2 QB. Same for many other positions. The starters will be the starters we can name 99% of them right now. Most of the backups are also set. At the most, 2 or 3 UDFAs will make it as walk-ons. 3 being only due to injuries somewhere.

The good news is we are another day closer to finding out.

beast (7h) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (7h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (17h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (17h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (19h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (20h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (21h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (21h) : Thank you
wpr (21h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (21h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (21h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (21h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (21h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
