Just like everyone expected some team to give up the world for Garoppolo and it didn't happen, I think these unproven understudies are far more valued by their teams and their fans than they are by the rest of the league.

Every GM in the league is aware of Brett Hundley and knows he probably could have been had much cheaper than what the Bears, Chiefs, and Texans gave up to get their rookies. If any of those teams would have gone to Ted when they were up in the first round and said "you give us Brett and you can have this pick" Ted would have jumped on it and they would have saved the other picks they had to throw in. That means at least those three GMs Don't think Hundley is a better prospect and I'm thinking he would have probably bit if Cleveland would have offered the second round pick when the took Kizer as well.

I'm not saying you are wrong I'm just saying I don't think many other non packer fans agree with you. You might get one here or there who thinks he is a better prospect than any one of them but not all of them.

That's just my take on it, not sure how others feel.

I don't feel anything, based on what I've seen, until this upcoming training camp, but I think it is clear how much they value Joe Callahan based on the roster move they made for him last season. We'll see what happens. It's a whole new year.

I think they would both struggle and the results would come down to the defense and running game either way. I think I've seen as much out of Callahan as Hundley. Obviously I don't have the benefit of seeing them practice, so I'm sure I'm wrong, but I'm not sold on Hundley yet. Hopefully this preseason changes my mind.

If I were a team trading FOR Brett Hundely, I probably wouldn't give up more than a 3rd or 4th. And I think what the Packers need to receive to trade Brett vs what other teams think his value is ... is why he's still a Packers player.

To me I wonder if this was done to motivate Brett or deal with a locker room issue. There is no good reason to go to the media to tell them you almost traded someone.
