Musccy said ya cant blame either side, this is true. This statement failed to consider the real perpetrator, the Lions, which Musscy mentioned later as overpaying. Signing Perry for 12M instead of 8-9 is an over pay. A broken down Lang for 9.5M is certifiable idiocy.

The Lions also gave us a 3rd round pick; that guy could haunt them for another 10 years after Lang is gone.

No wonder the Lions blew a 2 game lead with 3 to play and blew an insurmountable lead the year Rodgers was hurt. They're cursed.

Our division is full of idiots: With the Vikes in coup watch, needing to get a new coach and Bears totally sucking in every aspect [can a 3-13 team implode?] we again have the division won; but must play like our tails are on fire out of the gate to get that damn bye.

To some extent I'm sad to see Lang go. On the other hand, I'm glad Thompson didn't overpay for him.

As for the bye, how much good does it actually do? It didn't help the Packers get over the hump the year they went 15-1.
