I say we start Bulaga and Lang next week, and see what happens. Keep Clifton and Tauscher as highly-paid backups. That should keep them healthier, too.

Warhawk - Is Tausch better than Lang? Yes. No argument there.

But, you are a football coach. Your player Jim is better than Fred. Jim, however, had a game where he caused several penalties including a pair of false start penalties, one of which killed a drive, plus a hold that cost you guys the game. In your opinion, the holding one was a bogus call. That doesn't change the fact that the call cost the game.

What do you do to show Jim that you are serious about him not causing so many penalties? Do you simply yell at him not to do that? Or, do you bench him for one game and let Fred play?

Where is the proof? Lang hasn't had enough time out there to prove he is better than Tauscher and my point is taking the chance he is could prove very costly.

Lang hasn't been up against anybody and everybody. There is no telling what he would have done against the DE's of the Bears who are quite good by the way. I will say he fared well in brief stints but that's a long ways from saying he can compete with the best and Tauscher has done that. I think Peppers would have made Lang look silly quite honestly. Not a cut on him he just doesn't have the experience to handle Peppers.

Tauscher had a poor game. Most of the time he's pretty darn good and you can rely on him. If we had Lang over there it would be awhile before I wasn't scared to death every time Rodgers went back to pass. Especially if he's lined up against a Peppers type DE. My heart's not strong enough for that, sorry.
